Which wouldn't be so bad except for the cheapness of a few of his moves. Far more than Heihachi or Unknown used to be. Jinpachi (the final boss) is definitaly a challenge. The story line seems to suffer a bit in each sequel. Raven seems a bit poserish to me but he's ok too I suppose. Asuka annoys me though and I would rather they just brought back Jun instead of adding this little brat since she has some similar moves. The new additions in characters are ok I suppose. No 'fireball' type moves like in street fighter and the like but some moves such as the hunting hawk, while looking quite cool, are not physically possible, at all. It has just the right amount of realism and impossible physics. It's not all stupid gore and repeated special moves. I personally bought mine here on ebay because my local stores didn't have any new or used copies. Hopefully this gives a good insight to this game, and if you can still find it, I would suggest buying it because its usually cheap if you can find it. Like all fighting games of course, you just have to find a weak point. If you can find a strategy for beating the end boss, then this game would rival Tekken 2. Much like Tekken 2, which is my favorite. But if you can beat it, the stories are interesting. I find it hard for myself to play through the story because of this, and thats a large part of the game. You just get the basic game, which is fine with me.Īll in all, this game is good, but I feel the end boss alone made it a game that has a lower replay value, which may be the reason they added the arcade mode. But, it is the arcade version so theres no menu's and options. You have most of the characters unlocked in each game right from the start.

It has Tekken 1, 2, and 3 in arcade style. My all time favorite thing they added was an arcade mode. Though, a friend of mine loved it and thats all he did. Its slightly fun for the first time, but when you die, it becomes kinda boring. Basically you get a single button for kicking, punching, blocking, and jumping. Its kinda hard because of the controls and camera angles. Basically you play as Jin and go through levels beating enemies. They added a new feature called 'Tekken : Devil Within'. Tekken 5 also has a kinda of cool character customization feature where you can buy items for characters, and customize colors of 3 sections. The graphics are slightly higher then 4, and obviously alot better then Tekken 1 - 3. Now for the good parts, like Character movements and attacks are more smooth then previous games. Luckily you can't unlock him while playing the game normally. Now the end boss was the only part of the game I really didn't like, Unless you buy a gameshark and put the code in to unlock. So basically, you have to beat him as fast as possible without guarding and pray he doesn't use his death move. If you dodge, he can fire another one right after the first. And with an attack that does about 90% damage in a single hit with about a 1 second delay, its no fun. If you start learning his moves, he changes accordingly. The worst part of the game is when the end boss is so hard, that if you take a single hit, you are basically finished, it kinda takes away from the fun factor of the game. I will start with the bad part because its short. So I am not new to this game, in fact I'm really good at it.
